Captured during an early morning hike through the Canadian Rockies, this photograph wasn’t planned.
Among towering peaks and turquoise lakes, it was a single dew-covered leaf beside the trail that brought me to a stop. As the first light reached through the forest, the smallest detail became the most memorable part of the morning.
That moment reflects what I look for when I travel: the quiet, unexpected details that are easy to walk past.
